Today, @TAHC released Infested Zone 10 counties — another key step in easing movement requirements and supporting Texas producers. After 100 days: ➡️ 3 active U.S. cases ➡️ 50 total U.S. cases For perspective: in 1972, Texas alone confirmed more than 90,000 screwworm cases in a single year. @USDA and @TAHC continue working together through robust surveillance, rapid response, and sterile fly releases to protect the American livestock industry. Additional zones will be released as soon as they meet the criteria. We are making real progress, but there is much more work to do. @Screwworm
