In 2010, the same year Tesla went public, Elon Musk made a clear prediction:
“I think probably within 20 years, a majority of new cars manufactured will be pure electric.”
At the time, electric cars were still seen as a niche product.
Tesla had just gone public after years of near-death experiences, and the industry was highly skeptical.
Today, that prediction is well on its way to becoming reality.
