His chemistry with Claire Danes is what really makes the show work, especially as their strange friendship keeps shifting between fascination, trust and danger. If THE AMERICANS made you a Rhys fan, and you’ve been watching him in WIDOW’S BAY, this is a completely different side of him. He won the Emmy for this role this year too, which feels like a pretty good reason to finally check it out.
