๐ฉMy Assessment of PoB
@BruceBlue @tapeupio
From a Web3 product perspective, I believe PoB is a promising concept worth experimenting with, but its competitive advantage has yet to be proven.
What interests me most is not splitting buy orders across 7, 30, or 90 days. Time-based execution already exists. The real question is whether Builder Code can create a useful coordination network without becoming a mechanism for artificial transaction activity or inflated trading volume.
To convince the market, I would look for three key proofs:
1-On-chain transparency: Users can independently verify executed funds, pending balances, withdrawals, and fees.
2-Real-world effectiveness: Comparative data demonstrates improved execution outcomes, rather than just attractive charts.
3-A genuine link to building: Products and meaningful contributions can be independently verified, separate from trading volume.
If TapeUP delivers on all three, PoB could evolve from a scheduled-buy mechanism into a valuable component of launch infrastructure.
If it only solves the trading side, it may still be a useful product โ but there is not yet enough evidence to claim that it solves the long-term challenge of building a sustainable Builder Culture.
The real test is not how much capital PoB can schedule, but how much verifiable value it helps create. ๐
