Terence Tao has been the poster boy of legal immigration, model citizens, Elite Human Capital. We've been told that America needs Chinese geniuses to drive technological innovation. But it turns out now our golden boy Chinese genius is calling for a self-imposed, centralized authoritarian suppression of American technological innovation, because American technology is developing too fast. So we imported this guy to make America innovate faster, and now he's trying to slow us down. My great-grandfather lived in America during a time when America went from horse-pulled wagons to astronauts landing on the moon in a single lifetime. It was the biggest technological leap in human history, and it caused America to win WW2, to invent the nuclear bomb, to become the global military empire. If Terence Tao had been alive in America back then, he would've tried to stop us from winning. I've been saying this for years. We don't need foreign tech workers. We don't need foreign geniuses. Americans are good enough. Americans are the best in the world. We can win, on our own, without help from anyone. It's time to prioritize our own domestic rural white Christian talent. China doesn't innovate. China is afraid of technology. The Chinese culture and political system is designed to suppress technological innovation and business entrepreneurial dynamism. I've been saying this for years. Importing foreign white-collar talent is a complete disaster.
