Begs the question why the NYT didn’t report on the leader of the largest Hasidic sect in the world denouncing Zionists for defaming the Mayor:
The NYT just published an entire article on rabbis trying to get Mamdani to “tone down” his criticism of Israel.
So the scandal is Mamdani talking about Israel’s genocide in Gaza, not the genocide itself?
