We watched her weep in court. We heard a great deal about good mommy Lindsay Clancy, her stress, her postpartum psychosis, her ordeal, her trial, her holdout juror. We have not heard her say she was sorry about the children. If the defense is postpartum, a jury still has to decide. If the story is remorse, start with the three who cannot answer. Sorry for what happened to her is not the same sentence as sorry for what she did.
