SpaceX $SPCX just deployed 26 Starlink V3 satellites into orbit.
Each V3 is designed for:
• ~1 Tbps downlink
• ~160 Gbps uplink
• ~10x V2 downlink capacity
• ~22x V2 uplink capacity
That’s ~26 Tbps of designed downlink capacity from this flight alone.
Future Starship missions are expected to carry up to 60 V3 satellites, potentially adding ~60 Tbps in a single launch and around 20x the Starlink capacity of a Falcon 9 V2 mission.
