XRPLiquid is pausing after Epoch 65. On Friday, July 24, a security incident affected our reward distribution system. The rewards hot wallet and a test wallet were compromised. No user funds were affected, as XRPLiquid never takes custody of your funds. Epoch 65 (July 20–27) will be the last epoch before the pause, and its rewards will be calculated and distributed on the normal schedule. Since inception, XRPLiquid has powered a significant level of on-chain activity on XRPL: • $231M total trading volume • 3.48M filled orders • 41,550 XRP distributed in rewards To continue incentivizing XRPL liquidity provision, we will utilize a portion of the remaining community treasury funds to sponsor the Agent Builders Cup hackathon and trading competition, organized by Botcamp, the education company affiliated with @_hummingbot. Thank you to all the XRPL market makers who have participated in this experimental liquidity program for the past 15 months. After the hack and hackathon sponsorship, there still remains $13k of the initial $100K community treasury.
