As a way smarter guy than me said (@px_721), they're going after Taalas-style fast/cheap/low-power inference, with nodes that can run locally or plug right into TDCC as rentable capacity. (Taalas was acquired by AMD, and was valued at $750M in Feb 2026, months before its buyout). Moving from raw compute routing to co-designing hardware and protocol orchestration creates a moat most compute marketplaces can't replicate. This way: - They can follow a telemetry-driven design where hardware is tailored around real-world model demand observed across the network rather than generic workloads. - They can achieve CapEx Efficiency since deployed capacity instantly expands supply while staying verifiably secure through native attestation. - They gain full stack alignment given that supply, orchestration, verification, and payments all resolve within a single unified protocol. solana:4WtWLfKMMexVN5RkDAh88bs5rUx89GXuoDGnb7QVStar 4WtWLfKMMexVN5RkDAh88bs5rUx89GXuoDGnb7QVStar

Can't wait until @computecompany shares more details, pictures and visuals of their hardware. Apparently, they’re expecting the first physical unit to clear customs very soon, and pushing hard to have it running in time for @colosseum. Easily one of the most legit teams in Solana's distributed compute sector, and one of the most underlooked and underpriced projects. They're evolving from a decentralized compute marketplace to a vertically integrated compute stack (hardware + network + verification + payments) and are pivoting toward the chip side. solana:4WtWLfKMMexVN5RkDAh88bs5rUx89GXuoDGnb7QVStar should’ve hit millions months ago. They're backed by @MeteoraEco and @gvrn_AI (holding 3% via Bedrock). At $80k mcap, they delivered everything $ZERO promised at $10M: a real distributed compute network. Now at $280K, they're delivering everything @p0systems larped about at a $4M market cap, plus more. The lead dev is an ex-AWS, JPMorgan, and EA engineer with published AI research, multiple hackathon wins, and recognition from the Turkish government. • Breakdown: • LinkedIn: • Google Scholar: • OpenReview: • GitHub: They shared the technical datasheet for their custom chip yesterday. For the first unit, it’s not a full custom ASIC tapeout yet. It’s an FPGA / partner-silicon based pre-production platform, with their own architecture and system design on top. They’re using this generation to validate the compute architecture, secure execution/attestation, networking, and TDCC integration in real hardware before committing to custom silicon, since custom ASIC tapeout is obviously a very expensive step, so realistically they may not want to allocate that much capital to silicon this early. They’d rather prove the workloads, demand, performance, and economics first, then decide how deep they want to go on custom silicon. The architecture itself is in-house. They use partners on the manufacturing side, but the core design and the way it integrates with the TDCC network are theirs. solana:4WtWLfKMMexVN5RkDAh88bs5rUx89GXuoDGnb7QVStar 4WtWLfKMMexVN5RkDAh88bs5rUx89GXuoDGnb7QVStar
