The American public should be able to understand that too-broad government subsidy transfers massive amounts of their tax dollars to universities/corporations and leads to run away price inflation.
If you want cheaper GLP1s , remove the government assist for everyone but those who are truly indigent.

@neoavatara @anish_koka Except that the American public will not accept “no, we won’t help you pay for that drug, not even if it works and if you need it”. They have made this abundantly clear.
