Nad emailed Fabian and me, offering to help with design. This was before Lovable existed, when it was mostly an open-source project. Two weeks later, he’d redesigned the product, the site, and the brand. He’s been shaping how Lovable looks and feels and, to me even more importantly - how we work internally. His thoughtfulness on organization and ways of working has inspired a lot of how Lovable is being built. Grateful he sent that email.

At @Lovable we think a lot about clock speed: our internal pace of thinking, deciding, executing. Some people's clocks tick faster than others. @antonosika and @FabianHedin run fast, and they want everyone around them running fast too. Working here made me realise I'd been suppressing my own clock speed for years. Ironic - early in my career I'd called balancing craft and speed one of my designer superpowers. I was always a little jealous of the pure craft designers. I joined as the first designer and fourth employee. Day one, complete ownership: designing and redesigning the product, making foundational calls, building our now-signature brand - starting as a team of one. But speed only works with obsessive care underneath it. That's what turns speed into learning, and learning into ambition. I grew up building websites for local musicians and Counter-Strike leagues. Fitting that Lovable is the product I wish I'd had as a kid, hacking around online. I wrote more on this for @firstround's review - the culture that's trusted me to build a brand with heart since day one:
