Americans are divided on many things, but not on maternal health: nearly eight in ten voters say they're more likely to support candidates who back maternal health reform.
The poll comes from @HMHBAmerica, founded by Olivia Walton and part of @HeartlandFwd, a “think-and-do tank.”
The poll also found that 77% of voters believe maternal health in America needs improvement. When told there are 17.9 deaths per 100,000 births in the U.S. and that most of those deaths can be prevented, support rises to 86%.
