I asked the 1st employee at Brex where founders go wrong hiring executives from big companies:
"Their framework is very much about self-preservation.
It’s all about attaching yourself to things that are working, and staying as far away from things that are not.
Whatever starts to work, they run there like little kids playing soccer. They chase the ball and run away from problems.
But the way I run my business, I’m focused on the problems. If things are working, I’m like, great, I don’t need to spend time on that."
