We went from GPUs → tokens → open vs. closed source → enterprise use cases → ROI. And somehow, if you talk about AI consumption long enough, it always turns into philosophy: What is the ROI of compute? What is the ROI of labor? What is the ROI of human time? I’m definitely not qualified to answer the last two 😂 But I do think these are becoming real economic questions, not just philosophical ones.
