回购还是股息，本质上是财阀为了保住控制权而做的合规动作。😌

Samsung Electronics Formalizes an Era of Record Shareholder Returns Exceeding KRW 100 Trillion: “Even More Next Year”
According to Korean media reports, Samsung Electronics plans to convene a board meeting in August to approve major shareholder-return measures, including a special cash dividend. The total amount is expected to exceed KRW 100 trillion.
The plan is expected to focus primarily on cash dividends. In SK hynix’s case, SK Square must maintain a certain ownership stake under Korea’s Fair Trade Act, making share cancellations—which increase its ownership percentage—a relatively attractive option. For Samsung Electronics, by contrast, dividends are more conducive to managing its governance structure.
