not a fair comparison. Planes already fly regularly. Failure modes in planes aren’t in the realm of “should we use wings”. In this case, the ability to escalate and take over oversight systems is new behavior in a new technology. Foundational knowledge such as why/how this happened advances the field. It should be diffused.
