Toyota is Toyota.
Apparently thats enough to make the Hyryder safer than the Grand Vitara. ๐
Went to Toyota to check out the Hyryder.
Asked if Grand Vitara and Hyryder are basically the same.
She said no.
I asked about the engine, body and platform.
Almost the same, she said. We have a global partnership with Maruti.
Then I asked what I get from Toyota that I dont get from Maruti.
Brand value, reliability, service, RSA and safety.
Safety?
How is the Hyryder safer when both share the same platform?
Her answer:
Sir, Toyota is Toyota.
Honestly, I still dont understand.
If the platform, engine and major components are almost the same, how exactly is the Toyota safer than the Maruti?
Someone explain this to me.
