In America, a family will spend $70,000 on a brand-new German luxury automobile.
Then they will park that automobile in the driveway under hail, bird droppings, and direct ultraviolet rays.
Why? Because their two-car garage is filled to the ceiling with four broken weed-whackers, six plastic sleds, an inflatable kayak from 2018, and eighty-four cardboard boxes from Amazon.
The steel steed sleeps in the weather; the cardboard treasures sleep in the palace.
A glorious logistical mystery.
