But I'm not doing it because I want to insult or look down on anyone. I look at what is happening in parts of Europe with immigration and Muslim communities, and I'm genuinely terrified that Japan could face similar problems next. Americans may feel strong and confident that it could never happen to their country. But Europeans probably once felt just as confident. I don't want us to underestimate the risks and realize what we've lost only after our peace and sense of security are gone. I want people to recognize those risks and stand together before that happens. That's really all I'm trying to say.
