You still need transformers, high-voltage wiring, liquid cooling, giant chillers and a network that can move that much heat and data. That is why orbit keeps showing up. In space you skip most of that kit. On the ground the queue is not GPUs. It is the gear around them. My read is simple. Whoever can build the cooling and the electrical path fastest owns 2027. The rest is inventory.

Consensus estimate is that ~15GW of AI compute produced in 2027 cannot be turned on in 2027. This is harder than just finding power, as you also need to build out all the transformers, wiring, liquid-cooling, (massive) chillers & complex networking.
