Today, @A1Policy announced that we have launched an investigation into PG&Eโs decision to decommission the Potter Valley Hydroelectric Project โ critical infrastructure that has supported California farmers, rural communities, water supplies, and energy production for more than a century.
Weโve already filed 14 FOIA and California Public Records Act requests and submitted comments to FERC.
The people whose farms, livelihoods, and communities depend on this Project deserve to know why PG&E decided to walk away, who influenced that decision, and whether the full consequences were ever seriously considered.
We intend to find out.
