Mechanically, I don't like that the kinetiq:native claim rewarded people who were up early to arb the $0.26 to $0.40 spread. Like I had tons of limits in the mid to high 0.30s I would have pulled in hindsight.
But the upside of this system is that price basically gets pinned at or around $0.26-0.30 probably for 10 days. Claimants have no incentive to claim and sell lower, I have no incentive to bid higher. So people who want to invest here, right before
@Enter_Elysium launches, get a 10 day window to invest at a very attractive cost basis.
If the effect is a bunch of new holders, who are willingly choosing to buy here, with rock solid support at $0.26, I'd consider that a success.
Terrible for farmers, decent for current holders, quite nice for new investors.
I can't stress enough though that there's no right way to do this. It's either too dilutive and token nukes, too stingy and sentiment nukes, or delayed forever (Felix points ๐ข).
I'd give them a C+/B- on design, but there's no such thing as an A+ Season 2 airdrop. They all suck for someone.
