Apart from my pig farm, there’s one crop that completely changed the way I see farming..that’s cucumber. Now I understand why many farmers refuse to stop growing it. I planted it on just one plot of land. In 45 days, it was ready. After that, I harvested every 4 days for about 2 months. At the end of the season, I harvested about 120 bags and sold each for N15k. That’s N1.8m in sales from a single plot. Sounds exciting, right? But let me warn you… Don’t venture into cucumber farming just because of this post. Without the right knowledge, cucumber farming will humble you. It demands proper timing, irrigation, pest and disease control, and consistent management.
