The Penrose triangle, also known as the impossible tribar, is a 2D figure that the brain automatically interprets as a 3D object. While it can be depicted in drawings, it cannot exist as a solid object in Euclidean space due to its self-contradictory geometry. Optical illusions like the Penrose triangle occur because the human visual system treats 2D lines as indicators of 3D depth. The "impossibility" arises when the brain attempts to connect three separate perpendicular beams into a continuous, closed circuit.
