Tesla is just in this awkward period where multiple components for one massive future product are all being built simultaneously. Tons of insane weightlifting happening behind the scenes that can’t show up consumer side until all of the components are completed. So for now, they look like a car company selling two cars and a dumpster, with a product portfolio they’ve thinned out but haven’t replaced with anything new. Because what is new is still a work in progress. But the setup appears such that there will be a moment when all of these insanely heavy lifts happening behind the scenes are completed at similar times (FSD, Cybercab, infrastructure, reg battles) and it will likely hit like a truck when everyone least expects it.
