I found out about my parents financially abusing me via a post on threads. had no clue it counted as abuse
Itโs kinda funny to me that I found out I was being abused via book club. Book had a warning for child abuse at the start but I read it and couldnโt find it. Brought it up at book club and people quickly went โobviously the XYZ scenes?!โ And suddenly it clicked.
