When I say I’m in awe of this design, it’s because everything is simple and elegant.
The shape is fluid, clean lines, no mirrors, no unnecessary angles. The part count has been radically reduced. A traditional ICE has around 500 moving parts. This has the bare minimum: battery, steering, and electric motor.
And then there’s the real breakthrough: FSD. One compact unit with two redundant chips, connected only to cameras. Nothing else. No radar. No LiDAR. No HD maps.
It is the simplest design. And that’s precisely why it’s the best.
Making things simple in engineering is incredibly difficult. Achieving this level of simplicity and elegance is a genuine work of art.
