Well, that's one way to go trending. ๐
The AMC spike all over X this weekend came from a token launched on PAIR. Market closed, no market makers on the other side, and the onchain price ran 35x past the real one.
That's the whole reason we built multipools.
A token paired to one stock lives and dies by that stock's liquidity. Pair it to a basket and no single pair gets to set the floor. AMC goes 35x on a Saturday and it's one slice of the basket, cushioned by NVDA, TSLA and the deep pairs around it. Balance is the product.
On top of that we're adding a peg guard and risk labels, so a stock token drifting too far from its last close pauses new launches until it's back in range, and risk labels so you see the premium before you buy, not after.
We've also reached out to onchain MMs about weekend coverage, while
@RobinhoodCrypto is adding liquidity on their side.
Weekends showed the problem. Multipools are the answer.
