Update: it's clearly real, but I remain to be convinced that it's going to improve the state of medical imaging. I suppose we'll find out with time.
I don’t like raining on the parade, but I see no pictures of actual hardware here, no serious technical explanation of how the reconstruction occurs, and no actual scans. I’m not going to say that it isn’t real, but I am going to say that I don’t yet have enough evidence to know that it is real.
