A JAMA study of 379,000 children found that adverse events following the IPV (polio) vaccine occurred up to 38× more often than permanent injury from polio itself.
With studies limited by chance and reporting gaps, real risks may be overlooked—and it has not been proven that the IPV vaccine is safer than polio itself for children at normal risk.
Parents deserve clear, transparent data.
