What will actually attract capital are infrastructure projects that solve real problems. This shift in capital allocation is exactly why I recently started paying attention to @quipnetwork again. In late March this year, I spent several days carefully reviewing all of their public materials, including product documentation, technical roadmaps, and more, comparing them against the real issues that exist across standard wallets, custody services, and multisig use cases. My intuition is that @quipnetwork is not simply using quantum resistance as a marketing angle. It is building a framework designed to fundamentally improve the security of existing systems. That’s why they are not asking users to replace their entire wallet architecture overnight. Instead, they are taking the right approach: first upgrading key management, then optimizing the signing mechanism, and finally offering secure migration options. Because if you look at whale wallets, custodians, and even long-term holders, the core issue is not whether they understand the potential risk. The real issue is whether, once that risk becomes real, they can migrate securely at extremely low cost or even near zero cost. My main concern is this: once quantum computing begins to seriously threaten Bitcoin, the impact will be especially severe for early Bitcoin addresses, addresses with exposed public keys, and coins that have remained unused or unmanaged for years. As of early April 2026, Bitcoin’s market cap stands at roughly $1.85 trillion, spot ETF products hold more than 1.3 million BTC, and a large share of supply is still concentrated in long-term holder addresses. Based on these numbers, there will be a massive amount of capital in the market that may require stronger protection. Once risk expectations move from the discussion stage into the pricing stage, investors will begin looking for projects that offer real migration and compatibility solutions. My view is that in the second half of 2026, the post-quantum narrative will enter a filtering phase. The market will no longer focus only on innovation stories such as who launched a post-quantum platform first. Instead, attention will shift toward which teams can simplify integration, reduce transition costs, and meet institutional requirements. That is another reason why @quipnetwork is worth watching. They may not be the first name to get hyped by the market, but if they continue building in a disciplined and methodical way, they have a strong chance of creating independent value in the second half of this narrative.
