@aaron_epstein and @charliewarren have impacted my life more than probably anyone I didn’t want to post before demo day and our raise (I didn’t want to larp) but my time at YC were some of the hardest (but happy) months of my life - for the first 6 weeks I took 3 flights a week coast to coast (18 hrs/week) to be in the batch - lived in an attic after having to move out in 1 day from my apartment (although a great attic with some amazing people), I was almost going to live in @avimakesrobots closet at some point - had a lot of immigration, people and incorporation trouble for the entire batch - bootstrapped throughout YC - working alone because @saviomartin had visa trouble :( - constantly moving throughout the batch - pivot mid batch (multiple times) - surviving on credit cards and my dad (thank you) helping finance my stay in sf man and I wouldn’t have it any other way. this has been the most fulfilling and fun experiences I have had in my short time on this planet so far. @aaron_epstein and @charliewarren gave me more faith in myself to keep pushing than I had in myself lmao. I still feel like I haven’t unlocked terminal velocity. there is such a great delta of acceleration still not unlocked. build a generational company!
