this week I learned: you can run a real website INSIDE a tweet 🤯 people click, type and play in it without ever leaving the timeline 3 days ago I saw @tarasshyn do it since then I've shipped 3: - a multiplayer pile where you throw others - a red pill vs blue pill tower defense game - my newsletter signup (it's the card below, try it) here's exactly how: 1. add the player card tags to your page twitter:card = player twitter:player = the URL X loads inside the tweet twitter:player:width = 640, height = 480 twitter:image = the poster people see first 2. let X embed your page add a frame-ancestors header that allows X .com and remove any X-Frame-Options 3. post the exact final URL https + www, zero redirects 4. build for the sandbox X runs your page in a locked frame -> forms don't submit (send with fetch), no login, open links in a new tab 5. design for 2 screens desktop: it runs inside the tweet mobile: people see the image, tap, and X's panel covers the bottom 30% of your page check it live 👇
