GOOD NEWS ๐จ The Economic Daily reported that Tesla has partnered with companies like Mirle Automation and Asia Optical to accelerate the mass production of Optimus 3 ๐ฅ
Sources say Mirle Automation will primarily supply the robot's harmonic reducers and joint modules. To support this, Mirle and Shenzhen Kedali Industry Co., Ltd. have set up a joint venture in Rayong, Thailand, to manufacture harmonic reducers, robot actuators, and other precision parts. Because the project will take advantage of Kedali's existing factory space, mass production is expected to begin shortly ๐ช
For the robot's vision system, Asia Optical will draw on its spherical and aspherical lens technology to produce the components that serve as the robot's "eyes." These parts are slated to enter mass production in the second half of 2026 and into 2027 ๐
