The shipment of Radiant's Kaleidos microreactor to Idaho National Laboratory represents another significant step forward for advanced nuclear #
innovation# in the United States.
This next phase of full-scale testing is intended to demonstrate the reactor's future operational readiness.
As
@RadiantNuclear progresses towards commercial deployment, Urenco is proud to play a role through our agreement to supply #
HALEU# enrichment services, supporting #
AdvancedReactor# development, strengthening long-term #

Kaleidos has left the building!
Our transportable microreactor is on its way to
@INL's DOME facility, where it will begin full-scale testing.
Over the coming months, we'll validate commercial performance through a full-scale, full-power extended-duration testing program that progresses in 5 phases:
-Install and fuel Kaleidos
-Reach zero-power criticality
-Sustain 1MW thermal operation
-Full-temperature and full-power operation
-150-hours continuous operation
In 2020, our CEO
@DougBernauer said we’d have a reactor at the DOME in 2026 - and we will!
