My background and why I started @clashofperps. I previously worked at a few blockchain labs including Irys. My professional work has always been focused on growth, growing a blockchain ecosystem, getting metrics up. Growth at all cost. When I left Irys, I wondered if I can do the same even without the title. So I set off working on my idea of 1 startup per month, compressing development work to 1-2 weeks and GTM and growth to 1-2 weeks after the mvp was out. Went through a bunch of apps that had varying degrees of success, but nothing could beat the enthusiasm I was getting from both perp dexes and traders when I got to @clashofperps. It is one of those rare moments where B2B and B2C are both delighted and excited for the product. At that point, I knew I had to double down and focus on this. And 3 months later we are at 6.2k users, $100M cumulative trading volume and $50M monthly trading volume. I’ve proven to myself that I can do growth irregardless of having the title or not.
