CleanTech Innovators 2025 exhibition took place in February 2025 (24-26) at the Sustainability and Innovation Centre – Part of the world’s largest single site solar park, the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park. Osama Abbas from the ELDS team showcased how virtualized protection and AI fault prediction can greatly improve clean energy by increasing grid resilience, decreasing downtime, and optimizing maintenance. Today, the EU has a new Commission Vice-President designate, @Teresaribera , charged with implementing the #EUGreenDeal# We look forward to the preparation of the decarbonisation architecture for 2040 - a must-have for ensuring that the EU stays on track towards climate-neutrality by 2050 at the latest, emerges from fossil fuel dependency, and combats energy poverty. @vonderleyen also announced the Commissioner-designate for #energy# and #Housing#, @DanJoergensen We are delighted that the @EU_Commission took note of our open letter (https://t.co/p8vrtlgOu1) in July and made #heatingandcooling# a focus of the new mandate. The design of the new EU financial framework, including the Social Climate Fund and Just Transition fund, will be a crucial factor, along with the Clean Industrial Deal and new state aid guidelines to accelerate the rollout of #renewables#, #cleantech# and skills as announced by @vonderleyen The just-announced Citizens Energy Package must ensure that people are truly empowered to form #energycooperatives# for #heatingandcooling# along with other measures that mean people can benefit from the #energytransition#.
