Investing in the Future Maritime Workforce⚓ On March 24, @SeawayUSDOT visited @WNY_MaritimeCS. Our Deputy Administrator and Executive Officer spoke with upperclassmen enrolled in the school’s Maritime Careers class—a unique program that introduces students to careers on the water, teaches navigation fundamentals, and even includes hands-on boatbuilding at the Buffalo Maritime Center. This visit is part of our ongoing commitment to growing the maritime workforce and inspiring the next generation of seafarers, engineers, and innovators. By connecting directly with students, we hope to open eyes to the diverse, rewarding career paths available in the marine transportation sector—and to introduce GLS as an employer of choice in the industry.
