#NEP2020# emphasises the cultivation of cognitive, social and emotional competencies in young minds to enhance holistic development and experiential learning. In accordance with this vision, the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Bhubaneswar successfully conducted a seven-day special camp from 7th to 13th March 2025 in Bhubaneswar, wherein 50 dedicated NSS student volunteers conducted an orientation programme for young learners in local communities Throughout the week, students engaged in various impactful activities, including cleanliness drives, joyful learning sessions and awareness campaigns for health, hygiene and education. A key highlight of the camp was the implementation of the ‘Jaadui Pitara’ initiative by NSS volunteers. On 29th March, 2025, the State Level Para cum Special Sports Competition 2024-25, organised by the Directorate of Education, Delhi, concluded with a spectacular display of talent and resilience at Thyagraj Stadium, Delhi. With 2,907+ participants competing across 12 sports disciplines, the event promoted inclusivity and empowerment. The addition of cycling, yoga, rope skipping and cricket further expanded opportunities for Children with Special Needs (CwSN). The event was a vibrant celebration of talent among #CwSN#, marked by strong participation and unwavering encouragement from parents and educators.
