Sh. Ramesh Narain Parbat, Member (Legislation), CBDT, shared India’s experiences during a panel discussion at the 2025 ECOSOC Special Meeting on International Cooperation in Tax Matters, held on March 28 at the @UN Headquarters in New York. He underscored the significance of Domestic Resource Mobilization (DRM) for #SDG# funding, highlighted India’s Direct Benefit Transfers and #JanDhan# initiatives for financial inclusion, and emphasized the role of @UPI_NPCI in the formalization of the informal economy. He also emphasized the importance of clear and predictable tax rules in fostering economic growth and investor confidence.
