Apple has launched a new app called “Apple Immersive Video Utility” that allows users to manage immersive videos on Macs. Apple's immersive videos are known as 8K 3D clips, with a 180-degree field of view and spatial audio. Available content includes performances by artists such as The Weeknd and the band Metallica.
The application enables users to easily import, organize, and share these clips. In addition, Vision Pro devices can be connected to preview content, with support for simultaneous operation of multiple devices. The app is available for free on the app store for both macOS and visionOS, but is currently only available in English.
