Had a great meeting with Sh. @lonsaikia, Secretary, BCCI, today in Mumbai. Presented him with the coffee table book ‘Gully Cricket 2023 - At a Glance’ and extended a formal invitation for the Closing Ceremony of Gully Cricket 2025 on 11th May 2025, which he graciously accepted. Also discussed the vision behind our tournament’s slogan ‘Balla Ghumao, Nasha Bhagao’, and our ambitious goal of registering in the Guinness Book of Records for the highest number of participating teams. Additionally, in my capacity as President, UT Cricket Association, Chandigarh, urged for the establishment of a National Cricket Academy in Chandigarh, to which he assured to look into the matter.
