Major breakthrough by @BoringCompany!
Big tunneling milestone! For the first time, TBC has continuously mined in a Zero-People-in-Tunnel (ZPIT) configuration. There is nobody in the machine (besides the videographer), which is simultaneously advancing forward and erecting a ring (i.e. building the tunnel). Each full ring weighs ~24,000 pounds. In the same way that full and rapid reusability is the holy grail for rockets, ZPIT continuous mining is the holy grail for Boring Machines.  This is the safest, fastest, and least expensive architecture to build tunnels.

The promise: AI does the boring stuff and we the smart stuff. How it's going: We still clean the kitchen, while AI does the smart stuff and makes us dumber:
Rejoice! AI relieves us of the burden of thought. Critical thinking fades, but so does effort. A future of blissful automation awaits—where even questioning its wisdom is a task best left… undone. https://t.co/ZKSVtKFWb6

PRUFROCK: ELON’S TUNNELING MACHINE IS COMING FOR GARY THE SNAIL The Boring Company’s newest invention, Prufrock, is a tunneling robot that “porpoises” — meaning it launches straight from the surface, digs underground, then resurfaces without needing giant pits. It can start tunneling within 48 hours of arriving, and it’s fast — over 1 mile per week. That’s 6 times faster than the last model, though still slower than a snail. But not for long. Prufrock’s next goal? Beat 1/10th of human walking speed, or 7 miles per day. To get there, it mines continuously, installs tunnel walls on the go, and uses rubber wheels instead of old-school rails. It’s all-electric, cleaner than diesel machines, and the dirt it digs up? It might become bricks or park paths. Source: @boringcompany

Joe is thirsty for some ZPE discussion. If we talk I guarantee it won't be boring. Puthoff worked with Ken Shoulders on Condensed Charge research. #3# research priority by the DoD in the early 90s. The answer is plasma orbs. Plasma will look like a star because stars are plasma.

The biggest misconception I've seen around high agency is the assumption it's about becoming James Bond. That's a low agency trap in disguise. The point of high agency is to design your own movie -- regardless of how boring or exciting other people think it is. If you're outsourcing your sense of self to what other people deem as high agency, that's low agency. One of the ideas I left out of my essay was the story of Low agency James Bond: Bond comes home in his Aston Martin after another day of spying and seduction. He stares at a photo of his daughter. Tears run down his face. He hasn't seen her in weeks. Bond fantasizes about an alternative universe where he gives up his spy life and gets to see her grow up. But he's too addicted to the prestige and adrenaline of his job. To walk away would mean giving back the company Aston Martin and facing the quiet judgment of his old schoolmates from Fettes College. He can't quit. Another night drinking whiskey before bed to mask the pain. In this scenario, Mr. Bond is low agency. He was incredible at solving problems -- except the problem he wanted to solve. High agency without being intentional about what you're doing is just low agency in disguise. If you remove intentionalism, you're just a burnt-out busybody. Don't confuse "you can just do things" with "just do things". Picking what problem you want to solve is also a problem to solve. If your agency is outsourced to other people, it's not agency.

Lil Wayne deserved the halftime show in New Orleans. Entire performance was dry. Can’t tell me without SZA and the Drake beef that anyone would be gassing this. Deadass, beyond boring.

https://t.co/xIhglGn65p

Why is @Backpack is so conservative? Folks want bigger position sizes, larger limits, more borrows, and higher leverage. I do too. We'll get there--but with zero tolerance for unnecessary risk. Some risk, sure, as mistakes are inevitable. But if there's one thing I want to be known for, it's for being boring, slow, and safe. One only need look at the many examples of irresponsible risk management to understand why. Risk doesn't matter until it's too late. You don't earn brownie points for being boring, but you do earn points for staying alive. In this business, only the paranoid survive.

WHILE DEMS SCREAM, ELON IS REWRITING HUMANITY'S FUTURE While Democrats freak out, Elon is casually slashing $1T from federal bloat via DOGE - and even Trump’s clapping for the efficiency flex. Neuralink let a human move a cursor with their mind. Starship nailed orbit and came back. Tesla pushed 2M EVs out the door in a year while Cybertruck made electric tanks cool. Starlink's lighting up 5M remote users. Vegas now has underground transit thanks to The Boring Company. And 𝕏? It's the free speech platform now - cry harder. Dems can whine. Elon’s building the future.

You have to have been broke to appreciate money. You think these oil kids care about the cars the drive or the watches they wear? I’m grateful I started broke, gives me so much gratitude and fulfillment. It’s like playing a game with cheat codes when you’re born filthy rich, gets boring fast.
