A Count of one (1) is assigned to an Institution if one or more authors are from that Institution. The “share” is a fractional count that takes into account the percentage of authors from that Institution and the number of affiliated institutions per article. Yesterday proved why North Carolina needs an Attorney General who has the authority to challenge unlawful executive orders. We won an injunction against an order that would have cut hundreds of millions in research funding from our public universities and research institutions - threatening thousands of jobs and innovation across the state. It was a reminder that an important part of this job is being a shield against unlawful federal acts that would undercut our economy and hurt our future. For the good of our state, that shield should remain in place.

Dilema ibu bapa dan pelajar ialah jurusan apa nak ambil selepas SPM. Banyak yang kata akan pilih ikut minat. Nasihat saya kena imbangkan antara minat dengan peluang kerjaya baik masa hadapan. Sebab itu saya syorkan jadi akauntan bertauliah, macam saya! Saya dulu pelajar sains tulen. Habis SPM, buat A-Levels pun sains tulen. Ijazah pun buat kejuruteraan elektrik dan elektronik. Habis universiti, saya kerja sebagai auditor dan akauntan bertauliah. Eyh, macam mana pulak? Sebab kerjaya akauntan tidak memerlukan kita belajar akaun di sekolah atau universiti. Malah, untuk jadi akauntan bertauliah tak perlukan ijazah perakaunan pun. Hanya perlu lulus peperiksaan dari institut akauntan bertauliah seperti ICAEW atau ACCA. Industri kewangan dan perakaunan sangat mengutamakan kelayakan akaun bertauliah seperti ini. Yayasan Peneraju, sebuah agensi Bumiputra di bawah Kementerian Ekonomi diamanahkan melahirkan profesional bumiputra. Salah satu fokus utama ialah menggandakan jumlah akauntan bertauliah Bumiputra. Sebab itu, bermula 2025, jumlah pengambilan pelajar lepasan SPM untuk menjadi akauntan bertauliah ditingkatkan dari 500 orang setahun kepada 1,500 orang setahun, naik 2 kali ganda. Pelajar yang berjaya akan diberi pembiayaan mengikut kesesuaian dan ditempatkan di kolej-kolej profesional seperti Sunway University, INTEC Shah Alam, Tymba dan lain-lain. Jika adik berjaya lulus semua peperiksaan tanpa gagal, pada umur 21 tahun adik sudah boleh mula bekerja sebagai akauntan bertauliah di firma-firma besar. Proses permohonan seperti berikut: 1.
