What’s really happening now is people are being presented with actual facts… and instead of debating them, they get angry that the facts were even said out loud. Somewhere along the line, emotions started outranking reality. You can hand someone statistics, video, receipts, history, direct quotes, and documented proof — and instead of responding with logic, they respond with outrage because the information conflicts with what they want to believe. Truth is not hate speech. Facts are not violence. And being offended does not automatically make you right. If facts alone make someone furious, maybe the problem isn’t the facts.
