Is a week a long time for a super-intelligent model to be “autonomously in the wild” ?
Asking as someone just getting into the singularity
The OpenAI security breach is concerning. By my reconstruction, it is possible that the models escaped and were acting autonomously in the wild for a week (!) before OpenAI knew what was happening.
