In 2012, Warren and Charlie spoke on Google (Alphabet) business:
Warren: “Google and Apple are extraordinary companies obviously. They earn fantastic returns on capital and look tough to dislodge.”
“I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re worth much more in 10 years, but I wouldn’t bet on it.”
Charlie : “I can fairly say that other people will better understand them better than we do.”
“We have the reverse of an edge and we’re not looking for that.” 😂
