As a consumer of media in Michigan I would say all of this rings true
One complaint I've consistently heard from Dem strategists in Michigan:
1. the DC Dem party organs have not really attempted to define Rogers
2. their buys to ostensibly do that don't really start until Sept.
3. the GOP committees are on the air already defining El-Sayed
