Crenshaw residents are calling it "disrespectful" that Barrio Athletics said it was "taking over" Crenshaw. "We don't want you to come into Africa Town… you will be met with resistance from the black community," one social media user said. Following the backlash, Barrio Athletics has moved the run from Leimert Park to Elysian Park (FOX 11).
